Ambulance Dispatcher

Duties and Responsibitiles: Dispatchers must be available around the clock, so they often have to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Overtime and long shifts—sometimes 12 hours—are common. The pressure to respond quickly and calmly in alarming situations can be stressful.

Salary: $36,300 per year

$17.45 per hour

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Reflection:I don’t think I would like to an ambulance dispatcher because I really don’t like seeing open body parts with a lot of blood just everywhere.
