Biomedical Engineer

Duties and responsibilities: engineering processes and medical procedures in order to create new equipment and procedures for the advancement of medical science.

Salary: $48,000 and $122,000 annually, the median wage being $77,000.

Education: careers require that candidates to complete a four year program from an accredited university


Reflection: My reflection is that I would never wanna be a biomedical engineer. Biomedical engineer look sounds like a boring job for me. I don’t know how someone can sit or stand in a lab and learn about germs and cells.

Army

Duties and responsibilities: The amount of responsibility delegated to you depends on your mission, the position you hold and your own willingness to accept responsibility.

Salary:Basic Pay is your base salary as a Soldier on active duty and it counts only

 as part of your total income. It is distributed on the 1st and 15th of every month, similar to many civilian jobs.

Education: You must be either currently in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.


Reflection: yes I would want to be in the army because most of my family is in the army and I’m glad to say there apart of my family.

Reflection: Auricular Therapy is not something I would see myself doing. This kind of therapy is a little weird to me.

The twin towers attack is something I would never thought would happen but when this happened I was about 3 or 4. As much as I try to remember 9/11 I just can’t. Every year we remember 9/11. All the people who did for no reason. To the cops and fireman who died helping people, doing their job.

Duties and responsibilities: A trainer treats and helps prevent injuries from athletic activity.

Salary: $45,000-$90,000 & up

Education:4 years collage , 4 years bachelor, 2 years SATC, and have to past a test.


Reflection: An athletic trainer sounds like an really cool job. But all the years of school sound like a mission but I wouldn’t mind being an athletic trainer.

Anesthesiologist

Duties and responsibilties: surgical or medical procedure by administering appropriate anesthesia and monitoring the patient for reactions and complications, and to ensure comfort and manage pain.

Salary: in the United Sates are expected to make less than $348,831.

Education: entering college, those interested in a career in anesthesiology need to think about the kinds of classes taken in high school. Classes with a math and science concentration certainly go a long way in preparing a future anesthesiologist for success in college and medical school.

Reflection: I don’t think I would like to be anesthesiologist because every time someone goes into surgery they would have to see how scared that person is and I feel like it would make me worry about the person that is about to have surgery

Ambulance Dispatcher

Duties and Responsibitiles: Dispatchers must be available around the clock, so they often have to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Overtime and long shifts—sometimes 12 hours—are common. The pressure to respond quickly and calmly in alarming situations can be stressful.

Salary: $36,300 per year

$17.45 per hour

Education: High school diploma or equivalent


Reflection:I don’t think I would like to an ambulance dispatcher because I really don’t like seeing open body parts with a lot of blood just everywhere.
