Student success statement
“I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I must stand with anyone that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong”
-Abraham Lincoln
An iconic black and white photograph of a bearded Abraham Lincoln showing his head and shoulders.

-my reflection on the statement from Abraham Lincoln is why would you stand by someone you think is right or wrong what if they were lying to you the whole time but the story they would tell you made you want to believe them but then you started looking into it and it just ended up being a big lie and you just start feeling stupid for believing that person
April fool’s day
1. April fool’s day is on April 1st
2. In 1582, Pope Gregory XIII issued a papal bull decreeing a new standard calendar for Christian Europe that would take his name and centuries later become the standard internationally in the 21st century
3. Despite having no official recognition, April 1 has long been celebrated as a day to celebrate, well, foolishness to be exact. More specifically, April Fools’ Day is about making other people look stupid with practical jokes.
4. Pros: You get to prank people &Con's: If you prank people, you get pranked back
5. 28 December, the equivalent day in Spain and the Hispanic America, is also the Christian day of celebration of the "Day of the Holy Innocents". The Christian celebration is a holiday in its own right, a religious one, but the tradition of pranks is not, though the latter is observed yearly.

Student Success Statement
“I trust that my hard work will pay off.”
-Tyler Haws

Reflection: my reflection on this statement is the hard work pays off is a good statement cause we use it in football
Beer
The process of making beer is known as brewing. A dedicated building for the making of beer is called a brewery, though beer can be made in the home and has been for much of its history. A company that makes beer is called either a brewery or a brewing company. Beer made on a domestic scale for non-commercial reasons is classified as homebrewing regardless of where it is made, though most homebrewed beer is made in the home. Brewing beer is subject to legislation and taxation in developed countries, which from the late 19th century largely restricted brewing to a commercial operation only. However, the UK government relaxed legislation in 1963, followed by Australia in 1972 and the USA in 1978, allowing homebrewing to become a popular hobby.
The purpose of brewing is to convert the starch source into a sugary liquid called wort and to convert the wort into the alcoholic beverage known as beer in a fermentation process effected by yeast.
Reflection: I choose this subject because everyone drinks beer so why not give them some history. Beer can become the worst thing for someone but if you know your limit and how to not drink until you knock out or to dink everyday.

True independence and freedom
“True independence and freedom can only exist in doing what’s right.”
-Brigham Young

Reflection: my reflection on this statement is that he just saying everything we do can either give us more freedom or take freedom away from us.
