Student Success Statement

Reflection: My reflection is how could you be so sure that the people who do good live good? Like what if they are having the worst times and parts anyone could have. What if … when it comes to people there is always an if.. I knew this lady who would go to a park every Sunday I give food to the homeless, she was known was “mom” everyone would thru her block just to tell her hi and thank you. The best part is that, that women everyone looked up to was my grandma. The day she died I thought so many people knew her, looked up to her.
Veterinarian
Duties and responsibilities: Examine animals to detect and determine the nature of diseases or injuries. Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery. Inoculate animals against various diseases such as rabies and distemper. Collect body tissue, feces, blood, urine, or other body fluids for examination and analysis. Operate diagnostic equipment such as radiographic and ultrasound equipment, and interpret the resulting images. Advise animal owners regarding sanitary measures, feeding, and general care necessary to promote health of animals.
Salary: $70K per year. Cash earnings for Veterinarians — which occasionally include more than $13K from bonuses and more than $21K from profit sharing — stretch from around $49K to approximately $107K.
Education:  Veterinarians are required to complete a four-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program in addition to undergraduate school. These professionals are also required to obtain licensure to practice in the profession.

Reflection: My reflection on veterinarians is when I was little I wanted to become one but when I found out I had to work with many animals that I don’t like I stopped wanting to become a veterinarian.

Reflection: my reflection on the quote is that when you do something that you know in your heart isn’t right your heart ends up being right. Soo what he’s trying to say is to always listen to what you know is right.
Electrocardiograph Technician
Duties and responsibilities: An electrocardiogram technician performs an ECG by attaching electrodes to a patient and then pulling switches on an ECG machine to trace electrical impulses transmitted by the heart. A doctor then inspects these readings to analyze the patient's heart condition.
Salary: Technician earns an average wage of $12.92 per hour. People in this job generally don't have more than 20 years' experience.
Education: involves choosing the right subjects at high school and earning a high school diploma, researching the duties of an ECG
 

Reflection: my reflection is the in order to be an Electrocardiograph Technician you have to have take you’re time on check everything. To be honesty I really just don’t want to do this for a living.
